Privacy policy
This website sets no cookies, loads nothing from other companies, and runs no tracking or analytics scripts. That is why you were not asked to accept anything when you arrived.
Who is responsible
NeuroFlex Robotics AS, organisation number 933 589 684, Vestre Grøm 42, 4887 Grimstad, Norway, is the data controller for personal data processed through this website. You can reach us at contact@neuroflexrobotics.com.
What we collect, and why
Server logs
Our hosting provider records ordinary web server logs when a page is requested. These contain your IP address, the time of the request, the page requested, and your browser's user agent string. An IP address is personal data.
We rely on legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. The interest is keeping the site running and secure. We do not use these logs to identify individuals or to build profiles.
Raw logs are processed every 24 hours and then deleted. An archived copy is kept in our own hosting account and removed at the end of the following month, so no log is held longer than about two months.
Email you send us
If you write to us, we keep your message and your address so we can reply and follow up. The basis is legitimate interest, or the steps taken before entering an agreement where relevant. We keep correspondence only as long as it is useful, and delete it when it is not.
Visitor statistics
We use AWStats, which reads those same server logs on our hosting provider's machine and produces visit counts, which pages were requested, and where visitors arrived from. It runs on the server, not in your browser. It sets nothing on your device, and it does not follow you to any other website. The basis is again legitimate interest, in understanding whether the site is useful.
Your theme choice
If you switch between the light and dark appearance, that preference is stored in your own browser using localStorage, under the keynfr-theme. It is not a cookie, it never leaves your device, and we cannot read it. Clearing your browser data removes it.
What we do not do
- No cookies of any kind.
- No analytics scripts, advertising pixels or cross-site tracking.
- No fonts, scripts, images or embeds loaded from other companies.
- No selling or sharing of personal data.
- No automated decision-making or profiling.
- No transfers of personal data outside the EEA.
Who else can see the data
Dedia AS operates the servers hosting this site, and processes data on our instructions. Their servers are in Oslo, Norway.
Microsoft provides our email and file storage through Microsoft 365, so any message you send us, and any file we keep about the enquiry, is processed on their systems on our behalf.
Links to other websites, such as the sources cited on the foot drop page or our social media profiles, open on those companies' own sites, where their privacy policies apply rather than ours. We deliberately send no referrer information when you follow them.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, ask us to restrict how we use it, object to our use of it, and in some cases receive it in a portable format. Write to contact@neuroflexrobotics.com and we will respond within one month.
If you believe we are handling your data incorrectly, you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, Datatilsynet, at datatilsynet.no.
Changes
If we add anything that collects data, a contact form or a survey for example, we will update this page before it goes live, and the date at the top will change.
